Description: This pumpkin ale is brewed with french saison yeast and it comes through both in smell and in flavor. The taste of the saison, although I like it very much, dims the pumpkin notes. To its advantage the clove is coming through in its flavor and it is very likable, whether or not it slaps you in the face with the essence of fall. It is very good but not exactly what I am looking for.
